Congratulations to SYDNI Centre Manager, Helen Jones who was celebrated recently as a Warwickshire Changemaker 2025 by the High Sheriff of Warwickshire. Helen was delighted to represent the SYDNI Centre at the ceremony, who with 99 other outstanding people were recognised for their dedication to improving life in their local communities.
The Warwickshire ChangeMakers event was the idea of Karen Lynch MBE, His Majesty’s High Sheriff of Warwickshire to recognise and celebrate unsung heroes and frontline champions who represent community spirit, quiet determination and collaborative action.
Helen is passionately dedicated to the SYDNI Centre and the local community. She is especially proud of the strong team she has around her and together they have worked to create a community centre that provides vital support and activities to local people. There are a wide variety of groups and projects at SYDNI, as well as an affordable, friendly café. The centre is changing people’s lives through it’s projects and making a difference where it really matters.
