The National Grid Team make a difference at SYDNI

With the support of Volunteering Matters, a team of 9 from National Grid’s “Group Financial Control – Risk, Controls and Compliance” team visited SYNDI on Wednesday 3rd December to help give the centre a fresh new look and transform key spaces into brighter, more functional areas for staff and service users. The focus areas were the seminar room, the main office and the kitchen – with key tasks including:

Cleaning the walls (e.g. removing Blu Tack, filling in any cracks or holes)

Painting them

Mounting a white board in the main office

The team had a fantastic time and left with a stronger sense of purpose as a team.  Thank you, so much to you all, you really made a huge difference!
