It is with regret that I inform you that this year we will not be holding the Festival of Light 2019. We understand how treasured and enjoyed it is by all and are very sorry. This is mainly due to safety issues that were highlighted last year due to the fantastic numbers of people that attended and, some behaviour that caused concerns.
I have tried to resolve the problem for this year but have not been able to come up with an acceptable solution in time to raise the funds required to run the event. We are committed to doing all we can to be able to run the event for many years to come and are looking for people and organisations with a passion for the festival to come and say ‘hello’ at the SYDNI centre. Anyone who would like to be involved in the future of the festival please get in touch.
